Welcome to our Blog on writing your family history. When I started my career as a Genealogist it was back when computers were not used and the Internet had not been invented. It was also a time when Family history was nothing more that recording the birth marriage and death dates of ancestors.
How boring. Is that how you want to be remembered by your grat grand children as they look at your Genealogy they found in their parents closet. They open it and there you are Born 1928 married 1950 died 2035. So exciting.
With the advent of computers and the Internet there is no reason for your Family history to be like that. I hope this Blog will help you think creatively. We would also like you to send us samples of your work and we will be happy to critique it.

My daughter, who is in college, is interested in finding her father's relatives in Russia. Is such an adventure possible without either having Russian language skills or visiting Russia?perfect
